Artificial Intelligence

Drum & Bass supergroup ‘Artificial Intelligence’ have built up a huge reputation upon the foundation of their unique production sound. The duo comprising of Zula Warner and Glenn Herweijer have worked hard in building their signature vibe over the last ten years. Their debut artist album ‘Stand Alone’ came out at the end of 2010 on legendary record label V Recordings and was quickly nominated in DJ Mag and iDJ for ‘Album Of The Year’ (all genres) and cemented its place in the Top 20 iTunes Album Chart.

A.I. have had the honour of being requested to remix the likes of Kelis, Eric Prydz, Fat Freddy’s Drop, Skepta and Goldie and their latest dancefloor smasher, just finished is a huge remix for Roots Manuva which is already receiving massive support from all of the scene’s heavyweights! Watch this space. As well as being signed to V, their original productions have graced internationally renowned labels such as Soul:R, Metalheadz, Full Cycle, Good Looking, Commercial Suicide, C.I.A., Innerground, Exit and their own Integral Records.

‘Desperado’, held as one of the biggest DNB anthems of the last decade, was nominated by the public as Radio 1’s ‘Number 1 Drum & Bass Tune Of The Year’ in 2006, and since then they have had a string of number one hits on the BBC Drum & Bass charts including ‘Uprising’, ‘Bloodlines’, ‘Days Of Rage’ and ‘Three’s A Crowd’.

They have become DJs renowned for their versatile sound, regularly touring around the globe featuring on some of the world’s biggest and best festivals and club nights. They regularly headline Fabric in London, their hometown and have recently smashed up the dancefloor on eminent nights including Hype’s Tru Playaz, Andy C’s Ram, Goldie’s Metalheadz, Marcus Intalex’s ‘A Bunch Of Cuts’ and V Recordings’ brand new party.

Right now the A.I. boys are back in their Camden studio working hard on a new album. They are working with vocalists such as Ayah Marah, Jakes and Steo among others. With most recent releases on V Recordings and Ministry Of Sound, what will be their biggest things to date are in the pipeline!

Their own Integral Records imprint, one of many side projects they are busy working on has been going from strength to strength. A debut compilation album is about to be unleashed featuring some of the most groundbreaking artists from around the world, in true Integral style.
