Ill Truth return to Dispatch with the ‘Close to the Edge EP.’ After appearing on various collaborations and remixes for Dispatch over the last three years, this release marks their first artist-led EP for the label.

Title track ‘Close to the Edge’ sets the tone of the EP, upfront and seriously funk led, this bass-heavy stepper hits in just the right way. That trademark Ill Truth sound delivering crispy drums and textured rolling bass.

‘Session’ continues the EP on a slightly darker note, the brooding and dramatic intro breaking into metallic snares and a rolling sub bassline.

Black Barrel joins Ill Truth for the final track ‘Zoo”. Their production styles perfectly matched as they deliver an outstanding track packed with bass-driven funk and precision cuts.
